We are looking for experienced Copy Editors to work on books, book chapters, journal articles, and other scholarly manuscripts for international publishing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Edit manuscripts for grammar, language, clarity, punctuation, and consistency.
• Follow project-specific style guides and editorial instructions.
• Check terminology, abbreviations, references, tables, figures, and cross-references.
• Improve readability while preserving the author's intended meaning.
• Handle basic to advanced copyediting assignments based on experience and skill level.
• Work efficiently using Microsoft Word and Track Changes.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high editorial quality.

Requirements:

• Experience in academic, scholarly, STM, or book/journal copyediting.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong understanding of academic writing and editorial conventions.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Experience with international publishing projects preferred.
