Job Summary:

As a Garment Designer at VEROLIE, you will develop new garment designs, styles, color combinations, prints, patterns, and collections according to market trends and customer requirements. Your designs should be commercially viable and suitable for production.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Design & Product Development: Create new garment designs and styles, develop design concepts, prepare collections, and modify existing designs.
• Trend Research: Research current fashion trends, study competitor products, and prepare trend boards.
• Technical & Production Coordination: Coordinate with production teams, prepare technical specifications, and resolve design-related issues.
• Fabric, Color & Accessories: Select suitable fabrics and coordinate with teams regarding material availability.
• Sampling & Approval: Develop designs for samples, review samples, and maintain records of approved designs.
• Design Software: Use design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and modify designs.
• Cost & Commercial Awareness: Develop designs with production costs in mind and coordinate with teams to achieve cost and quality targets.
• Documentation: Maintain design files, sketches, and records of samples and revisions.

Required Skills

Educational Qualification

Diploma/Degree in Fashion Designing, Apparel Designing, Textile Designing, or a related field.
