A Senior Shopify Web Designer is responsible for creating a unique and user-friendly website that aligns with a business’s branding and specifications. This role ensures that the website is functional, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.

Responsibilities

• Create a unique and user-friendly website that meets business branding and specifications.
• Ensure the website is functional and up-to-date.
• Develop a store template compatible with business plugins.
• Optimize the website for search engine friendliness.
• Integrate various components of a business with their Shopify store.
• Connect the store with social media platforms.
• Make necessary coding changes.
• Program the website according to business needs.
• Optimize the store for maximum performance and functionality.
• Test and monitor the store's performance regularly.

Requirements

• Proficient in building, launching, and maintaining eCommerce stores.
• Expert knowledge of Shopify’s admin system.
• Deep understanding of eCommerce design elements.
• Proficient in CSS and HTML with strong coding and programming skills.
• Knowledge of open-source software and common web technologies.
• Strong SEO knowledge and understanding of platform APIs.
• Experience with Shopify’s theme development and liquid templating.
• Experience working with 3rd party Shopify apps.
• Strong testing and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Highly organized, creative, and adaptable.

This position requires working night shifts from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM.
