Role: Content Editor – Koimoi (Digital Entertainment Portal)

Company Description: koimoi.com is amongst the top Bollywood entertainment portals in India and a leading voice of Bollywood & Hollywood. The website is known for its in-depth, unbiased, and extensive coverage of the Entertainment industry, attracting close to 10 million visitors monthly.

Responsibilities:

• Proofread and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.
• Ensure that a zero-error copy is published.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and language usage.
• Verify factual accuracy and facilitate necessary changes.
• Collaborate with writers & editorial team to deliver quality content.
• Perform thorough checks for typographical errors and formatting issues.
• Suggest revisions and enhancements to improve overall content quality.
• Publish proofread articles on WordPress (training will be provided).
• Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and latest editing trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2-4 years of experience as a Proofreader in media or entertainment.
• A graduate with expert-level written and spoken English and impeccable grammar.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.
• Attention to detail and exceptional proofreading skills.
• Proficient in using editing tools and software (e.g., Grammarly).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in writing entertainment content online is a bonus.
