As an AI Generalist at Credible CFO, you will build practical AI and LLM automations across our accounting and finance operations.

About the Role

Credible CFO is a cloud accounting and CFO-advisory firm serving US-based businesses. We are integrating AI into our bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and ship AI/LLM-powered tools that automate accounting and back-office work.
• Build integrations and automations using APIs, webhooks, scripts, and low-/no-code tools.
• Engineer prompts, evaluate model outputs, and ensure accuracy in a finance context.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to automate manual processes.
• Track the AI landscape and recommend valuable tools and approaches.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in building software, automations, or data/AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python preferred) and comfort with APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or fintech workflows.
• Experience with automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Odoo or QuickBooks/Xero.
